Book review by Rick Stringer
Photoshop
5.5 may be the one tool that every web designer must have. Now there is a book
that will help designers take Photoshop images to the
next level. Photoshop for the Web, Second Edition, is a comprehensive
look at Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Adobe ImageReady 2.0.
Mikkel Aaland has written a book that is one of the most useful Photoshop books that I've seen. He has a flowing easy to follow style. Mr. Aaland brings his photographic experience to this book well. I appreciate his examples and clear explanations of how and why he manipulates images. It is loaded with color and B&W examples.
Photoshop for the Web covers many topics:
It would take many pages to list all of the useful tips that
are in this book. Mikkel Aaland has written a winner here. I'll give it five
cherries! Now I'm going to go back and practice all of the new tricks that I've
learned for Photoshop.
